
The International Images Film Festival for Women (IIFF) is the only annual women’s festival south of the Sahara and this year celebrates its 10th anniversary. The festival takes place from November 18 to 25 in Harare. The festival will be held at various venues around the city including Eastgate, National Art Gallery the Zimbabwe German Society, Gallery Delta and the Mannenburg in Harare.
International Images Film Festival (IIFF) is one of the longest running female oriented films showcasing in the country. The festival brings in international and regional filmmakers who impart valuable knowledge through various programmes. The festival this year through the Ndichirimupenyu Awards is an event centred on women which is set to empower female filmmakers and those interested in film.
The Culture Fund by supporting these platforms encourages more women to participate in the film industry and for the community at large.
